Website Design

Medical website design that earns trust and books patients

A patient decides whether your practice looks competent within a few seconds of the page appearing, mostly on a phone, often on a poor connection. Everything we build is aimed at those seconds and the booking that should follow them.

What you get

What's included

  • A custom design, not a bought template

Built around your specialty, your patients and the treatments that actually sustain the practice. Templates force your practice into someone else’s structure and every competitor using the same one looks identical.

  • Genuinely fast on a phone

Static pages, modern image formats, self-hosted fonts and almost no JavaScript. We build to pass Core Web Vitals on a mid-range Android over mobile data, not on a desktop over office fibre.

  • Accessible by default

Semantic markup, real colour contrast, full keyboard navigation and correct labelling throughout. This is both an ADA exposure question for medical practices and simply how a site should be built.

  • Structured for search from day one

A page per service and per provider, correct heading structure, structured data, clean URLs and a sitemap. Retrofitting this later costs more than doing it at the start.

  • Unlimited content updates, included

New associate, new hours, new insurance accepted, a price change. Email it to us and we make it, usually the same business day. No per-request invoice and no page builder for you to learn.

How it works

The process

  1. Discovery

We look at your current site, your competitors and the searches your patients run. You get a written plan covering site structure, the pages we recommend and why, before any design work begins.

  2. Design

We design the key page types and review them with you at two checkpoints. Feedback is expected at this stage, when changes are cheap, rather than after build.

  3. Build

The site is built as static pages with the content management approach agreed at discovery. You get a working preview link throughout, not a reveal at the end.

  4. Launch

Redirects mapped from your old URLs so existing rankings carry across, Search Console verified, analytics configured and scheduling connected. Then we watch the first fortnight closely.

What actually makes a medical website work

Most practice sites fail for one of three reasons, and none of them is aesthetics.

They are slow. A site that takes four seconds on a phone loses a substantial share of visitors before they see anything. The most common causes are uncompressed images, a heavy page builder and a stack of third-party scripts nobody has audited since launch.

They are one page pretending to be a website. A single “Services” page listing twelve treatments ranks for none of them. Patients search for their specific problem and land on whoever wrote about it properly.

They make booking hard. A phone number in a header, an office open nine to five, and a contact form that nobody monitors. Patients search in the evening and book with whoever lets them.

We build against all three, and the aesthetics follow from getting them right.

How we build

Static HTML, generated at build time. Every page is a real file served from a global CDN. Nothing is assembled while the patient waits. There is no database to go down, no plugin to be exploited and no monthly hosting bill worth mentioning.

The interactive parts, the mobile menu, the booking widget, the contact form, are small pieces of JavaScript that enhance a page which already works without them. If a script fails, the content is still there and the form still submits.

That is not a technical detail for its own sake. It is why these sites pass Core Web Vitals, why they stay fast three years after launch, and why they keep working when something inevitably breaks.

FAQ

Website Design: common questions

How much does a medical website cost?

Most GrowMyCare practice sites fall between $3,000 and $8,000 as a one-time build, depending on the number of pages, providers and locations. There is no monthly retainer for the website itself and content updates after launch are included. Local SEO and scheduling are quoted separately so you only pay for what you need.

How long does it take to build a medical website?

A single-location practice site typically takes about 21 days from kickoff to launch. Multi-provider or multi-location clinics usually run four to six weeks. The most common delay is waiting on photographs, provider bios and the insurance list, the build itself is rarely the constraint.

Will I lose my Google rankings when the new site launches?

Not if the migration is handled properly. The risk comes from changing URLs without redirecting the old ones, which orphans every ranking that page had earned. We map redirects from every existing URL before launch and monitor Search Console closely for the first few weeks. Handled correctly, rankings carry across and usually improve as the site gets faster.

Do I own the website and can I take it elsewhere?

Yes. You own the domain, the content and the code. The site lives in a repository you control and we will hand over everything on request at no charge. There are no long-term contracts and nothing is held back to make leaving difficult.
